MICROSTRUCTURAL PROCESSES IN THE WAKE REGION OF THE CRACK IN CASTABLES CONTAINING EUTECTIC AGGREGATES

摘要

To understand the fundamental correlation of the microstructural processes in the wake region of cracks, different functional aggregates are used. In this first study the influence of these aggregates on the elastic and mechanical properties and the microstructure is examined. Each aggregate had a different kind of impact on the microstructure, but all reduced the stiffness and the mechanical strength.
