Innovative in-house cabling solutions for FTTH

摘要

Drop and in-house cabling is one of the bottlenecks for FTTH deployment. Solutions have to be as invisible as possible to be accepted by building owners or customers. When it's possible, existing conduits are re-used for cables installation to avoid a visible cabling. If it's not possible the cabling has to be as aesthetic as possible to be accepted. Solutions have also to be low skill and little time consuming in order to reduce the costs of deployments. This paper presents new optical and copper indoor cabling solutions studied by Orange with suppliers to meet this challenge.
