摘要

The work considers the methods and techniques, allowing the recognizing of the kinetic mechanism of the chemical reactions from data of thermal analytical instruments. It describes which information of kinetic mechanism can be found from model-based methods. The work compares results of model-free and model-based methods, which can help for understanding of reaction mechanism. The single step reactions can be analyzed as well by model free as by the model based methods, but model-based methods give more significant information about reaction mechanism. The multiple-step reactions can be analyzed also by both methods, but for most cases the model-free method gives irrelevant results especially for processes with parallel reaction steps. The examples with model-based kinetic analysis performed by NETZSCH Thermokinetics software.
