Gastrointestinal stasis, also known as ileus, is one of the most common disorders seen in pet rabbits. Ileus is a non-specific presentation that can be the result of underlying issues such as inappropriate diet, pain, dental disease, or other systemicdisease. While many cases may respond to supportive care, underlying etiology should be investigated whenever possible. This report highlights 4 cases of ileus in rabbits with varying suspected underlying disease processes.
