摘要

This contribution deals with the dependence of the computational time of exact method for p-median problem on characteristics of underlying transportation network. The research is motivated by previous experiences in experimental work with approximate method for the p-median problem. During these experiments it was found that the distribution of the distance values may considerable influence the effectiveness of the solving process. We want to verify the similar hypothesis for the specific algorithm developed for the p-median problem.
