PALEOZOIC TO MESOZOIC TECTONOSTRATIGRAPHY OF THE ABADI GAS FIELD, EASTERN INDONESIA

摘要

Upper Permian through Upper Cretaceous successions in and around the Abadi gas field record a series of transgressive - regressive cycles mainly controlled by tectonic revolution of continental rifting and subsequent breakup. They are divided into (i) the Upper Permian to Upper Triassic pre-rift deposits, (ii) the Upper Triassic two-story lowstand incised valley complex, (iii) the Upper Triassic and (iv) the Lower to Middle Jurassic transgressive deposits, (v) the Middle to Upper Jurassic deposits which acts as main reservoir in the Abadi field, (vi) the Lower to Upper Cretaceous and (vii) the Upper Cretaceous post-rift deposits.
