There is a lot that can be learned from the study of the behind the scenes systemsthat make satellite communications possible, such as MPPT and Attitude DeterminationExperiment (Wobble). Additionally, there are lots of learning opportunities made possible byreceiving and analyzing the telemetry data being transmitted by the satellites. From the academicand life-long-learner points of view, the Fox borne experiments are as important, if not moreimportant, than the voice transponders they support. So I hope you will take some pass time toparticipate in the experiments, and become more proficient and capable satellite operators in theprocess.As with the Wobble simulator project that was the subject of the companion article, this MPPTsystem project was made possible because of the generous support of the ARRL Foundation. Iappreciate that they supported my own learning that resulted from the development of thisproject.
