This paper describes our experience learning how to use aRaspberry Pi computer to control a pair of Eagle Aspen rotors todevelop an inexpensive azimuth and elevation antenna rotorsystem. We constructed a circuit board that interfaces betweenthe Raspberry Pi and the rotors. Also, we wrote a small Pythonprogram that converts rotor position data to DiSEqC commandbytes that are understood by the rotors.
