Front loader automation Development of a front loader automation including an electro-hydraulic self-leveling system

A front loader automation system is introduced for the new John Deere 6R and 7R tractors, which allows the operator to execute an automated motion of the boom and the bucket towards predefined setpoints. It increases the loader productivity, decreases the operator fatigue and contributes to a safer loader operation. Since this system is fully integrated into the tractor, it offers the operator a functional unit between tractor and front loader. In addition to the automation an electro-hydraulic self-leveling of the loader attachment (e.g. bucket) is implemented, which outperforms currently existing systems in terms of leveling accuracy.
