摘要

The formation of nano-scale precipitates during isothermal ageing of Ni_(50.3)Ti_(29.7)Hf_(20) high temperature shape memory alloy was investigated using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) and Small Angle X-ray Scattering (SAXS). SAXS analysis revealed that ageing caused formation of spherical precipitates of average radius 3nm, which resulted in increase of the characteristic temperatures of B2-B19' martensitic transition.
