Design of compact pin-type DBD module for deodorization in cooking oven

摘要

In this paper, the DBD module, which is one of the effective solutions for deodorization, has been designed to remove a residual odor in oven cavity. For high flow rate, a pin-type DBD module with many holes on its plate has been realized. The size (72 mm× 9 mm× 56 mm) is compact enough to be installed to a residential cooking oven. Furthermore, experimental conditions such as temperature and voltage have been suggested. As a result, fishy smell of mackerel in the cavity is perfectly removed for and over 18 hours after the cooking.
