AN EXPERT SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING MINE PRODUCTION PLANNING IN MULTI-PLANT MINING ENTERPRISES

摘要

The paper presents an expert system for supporting mine production planning in hard coal mines. The knowledge base of the system stores: rules allowing the selection of equipment with regard to geological and mining conditions of longwall faces and planned entries, rules for combining mining machines into longwall complexes, characteristics of longwalls, entries and equipment used in the past, as well as probability density functions of the mining works rate of advance. The presented system can be used for the estimation of future rates of advance in designed longwalls at given conditions and equipment.
