In the Turkish Hardcoal Enterprises (TTK), a project has been initiated to transfer these underground production maps into computer medium, to visualize the underground works in three dimensions and to assign data to each of the underground works. In this project; the objective has been three dimensional (3D) digitization and visualization of geological structure of underground, coal seams, faults and their throws, underground production panels, galleries, shafts, equipment and structures. In addition, active updating of the changes in underground works, storage and retrieval of data from the 3D models have been intended.
