WATER QUALITY IMPROVEMENT OF THE AGRICULTURAL RESERVOIRS IN GANGHA-DO

More than 280 agricultural reservoirs distributed across the country receive water from nearby rivers, streams or agricultural drainage channels, and this water is used for irrigation. Due to sub-optimal water quality at the water sources, pollutant has been accumulating in the reservoirs and their water quality has been deteriorating. The purpose of this study is to identify water quality characteristics of agricultural pumping reservoirs, and then propose their water quality improvement.
