Ear deformation can be intercepted and corrected in the first 3 months of life in new born using auricular splint. Splints take advantage of the cartilage malleability caused by maternal estrogens that up to three months are still in circulation. From 2009 to 2011 we treated 10 patients with ear splint (15 ears) in patients from 2 days to 3 months of life for periods of 2 / 3 months. The follow up to 1 year showed a recovery of the correct auricular morphology and a restoration of symmetry of the ears
