摘要

Here, an innovative lab-on-a-chip platform towards electrofusion in droplets is described. It comprises a novel, impedance-based cell in droplet detection. This platform also enables label-free discrimination between viable and dead cells. Moreover, a new approach of efficient encapsulation of beads in droplets is presented. Bead encapsulation with efficiencies up to 95% is shown, using inertial focusing in a curved channel.
