USE OF ISHIKAWA DIAGRAM AS MANAGEMENT TOOL OF MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES - CASE STUDY FROM PORT-AU-PRINCE (HAITI)

摘要

Analysis of solid household waste management in developing countries, shows a demonstration of a patent offset between the target of the service (keep the city clean) and the reality. This study aims to explore the problem in some developing countries, as discussed by other researchers to identify some possible explanatory causes, then schematized them by using the Ishikawa diagram. This analysis has highlighted the character both complex and complicated the issue of solid household waste management in the cities of developing countries. Complex, as the multiplicity of factors or constraints which the service is struggling - Complicated because it should not rule out the possibility of relations between them, making in fact, less obvious capacity management problem local authorities.
