LIFE CYCLE ANALYSIS OF WASTE MANAGEMENT FOCUSED ON WASTE CATEGORIES AND TREATMENT METHODS

摘要

The aim of this study was to estimate GHGs emission units and its reduction effects achieved by treating each of the waste categories with each of the applicable treatment or utilization methods. This analysis will make it easier to determine the treatment methods for a particular waste category that are effective for achieving GHGs reduction compared with conventional treatment methods, such as landfilling and incineration in some countries or cities. Some scenario comparisons in Kyoto were also estimated as case study.
