Real-time position and velocity measurement of a moving object with high accuracy and resolution using an airborne ultrasonic wave is difficult due to the influence of the Doppler effect or the limit of the calculation cost of signal processing. The calculation cost had been reduced by single-bit processing and pulse compression using two cycles of linear-period-modulated (LPM) signal. In this paper, accuracy of the ultrasonic two-dimensional position and velocity vector measurement of the proposed method using two microphones is evaluated by experiments.
