Method for determining an event within a first resolution, dependent on the value measured using sensor technology and determined from a voltage output. Accordingly a signal value is measured with a first resolution. The signal is then overlaid with a second signal curve of a second resolution, so that the difference between the signal curves is held to a minimum. As the second resolution is much higher than the first resolution, the combined signal curve yields the result with higher accuracy.
