QD NCC : Quick Dry No Cement Castables. A novel non-cementitious mineral bond permitting extreme rapid dry out of monolithic refractory linings

摘要

A novel non-cementitious mineral refractory bond system called Quick Drying No Cement Castable (QD NCC) bond has been developed. The intrinsic fundamental properties of castables based on this bond can be summarized as follows : 1. No curing time required. 2. High gas permeability, especially at temperature below the range, where conventional drying fibres are effective.
