摘要

In this research, the effects of nano carbon materials were evaluated in carbon containing refractories, especially continuous casting nozzle. As using the nano carbon material, we will expect excellent performance low expension, high strength, low elastic modulus, low carbon content. One of the most useful nano carbon materials is CNT, which has unique properties in mechanical, thermal, electrical. Dispersion of nano carbon is a challenging task for their utilization in any application. For many industrial applications a uniform and stable dispersion of particular matter plays an important role. Currently two approaches are widely used in nano carbon dispersion, the mechanical approaches and chemical approaches. In this research, we study nano carbon dispersion for using simple addition method and liquid dispersion method and Al2O3-nano carbon composite method. By using the above method, development of optimized Nano carbon dispersion and effect of applying Nano carbon material in refractories are discussed in detail.
