B-Cell Lymphoma Ventriculi with gelicobacter Pylori Infection - Case Report

We report a case of a 32-years male with Helicobacter pylori infection and primary neoplasm of the stomach. He was suspected of having gastric cancer by endoscopic and histological findings. During surgery infiltration of pancreatic head and transverse mesocolon has been found. Three courses single drug chemotherapy with 5-Fluoracil have been conducted without any improvement and with the appearance of mechanical jaundice. Additional examination of the tissue samples with injinunohistochemical straining performed, revealed B-cell gastric lymphoma. Twelve courses multi-drug chemotherapy followed without reaching neither clinical nor haematological remission. At the last CHOP-M blast transformation appeared. That necessitated a change of the treatment as in acute lymphoblast leukaemia, again without achieving remission. New, highly aggressive approach resulted in complete remission. For two years the patient has been still treated with maintenance drug scheme.
