Modern structure in agricultural production demands ever increasing quality, documental mapping and environmental awareness. With fertilising, the aim of mapping fertiliser application rates is achieved thanks to the Electronic Mass Control (EMC). The weaknesses of well-known calibration systems are compensated with EMC. The drop in pressure (drive rotation moment) on the hydraulic disc drive is monitored by pressure sensors and measured for mass. The relation between mass flow and the drop in pressure is linear and a straight line increase does not depend on the physical properties of the fertiliser.
