A Non-proteinogenic Amino Acid, Mimosine and Mimosyl Peptides for Cosmeceutical Ingredients

Focusing on the discovery of active peptide ingredients, Mim has been successfully isolated from natural resources with the invention of chiral determination method in the industrial scale production. Mim derivatives for mimosyl peptides have been also produced. While Mim is believed to be toxic, the safety has been confirmed in vivo on human skin in the aspects of cosmeceutical ingredients.
