Highly nonlinear, low dispersion fibres for telecommunications applicaitons

We design fibres with high index materials to provide very high nonlinearity and sufficiently low dispersion for use in telecommunications applications. In our analysis we investigate the properties of two glass systems and how index contrast can be used to tailor the dispersion.
