General practitioners (GPs) play an important role in the communication about the risks ofelectromagnetic fields (EMF) because subjects who attribute their health complaints to EMFoften get in contact with GPs. Therefore, we assessed the proportion of general practitioners(GPs) in Germany who assume health impacts of EMF. Moreover, we assessed whetherdifferent kinds of knowledge and trust in organizations .predict risk perception of GPs: self-assessed knowledge, correct knowledge, incorrect knowledge, self-assessment that personsdo not know something about that theme, and finally trust in information given by the WHO.
