This paper presents a CCD Data Acquisition System based on a 1 million gate FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) and 32bit RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) processor. Based on UDP/IP (User Datagram Protocol/Internet Protocol) protocol, with Interline Transfer CCD camera, the system transmits network data to PC with GigE (Gigabit Ethernet) interface. Its methods and characteristics are described, and the advantages of data transmission with UDP/IP protocol are analyzed. Finally, programmable command control of software and serial communication is realized with VC++. Experiments show that the camera control system can implement high-speed, long-distance data transfer and storage through GigE interface.Therefore, the system is intelligent for broad applications.
