The Outreach Session. Round Table: 'Science And Society. Do (All) Countries Need Science?!'

These are moderator's remarks about the round table in the aftemoon of Saturday June 26, which was part of the Carpathian Summer School of Physics 2010. Guests from outside the school have taken part: from the government of Romania, the management of the IFIN-HH, University of Bucharest and the media. The starting ideas of the organizers are listed only, and brief descriptions of several of the presentations or interventions are made.
