Rapid prototyping techniques offer the possibility of directly fabricating customised scaffolds with different architectures, biological and mechanical performances. The aim of this study was to design 3D rapid prototyped poly(e-caprolactone)/iron oxide nanocomposite scaffolds, and to investigate the effect of the magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles on the biological and mechanical performances.
