One of the main factors in determining the metrological characteristics of the current transformers is the accuracy class assigned for sinusoidal signals of frequency 50 Hz. The aim of the project is to develop a methodology of instrument transformers standardization for distorted signals transfer. In order to ensure proper assessment of the current higher harmonic level in the power networks were hall effect sensors can not be used instrument transformers should ensure a fixed accuracy of the distorted currents transformation. Analysis of this transfer accuracy were made on the example of the current transformer with toroidal core made from permalloy NiFe 78. Developed method allows to determine the accuracy of the current transformer in the evaluation of the power quality and estimation of the primary current conducted disturbances level.
