摘要

This article privileges a systemic and constructionist perspective to understand and comprehend the change processes in therapeutic contexts. That is, it uses systemic and social constructionist conceptualizations and it includes the voices of the clients, therapists and researchers in the process in itself. If you imagine a picture of a therapy room, where a therapist is talking with a client, and if you zoom in that picture you will learn about the aim of this research: the conversations about the therapeutic conversations. Our interest was on how clients and therapists construct their ideas about change and usefulness in therapeutic conversations. Inspired by the ideas of Barnett Pearce (1994), we don't think change and usefulness as objects to be found in the physical world, but as processes that are constructed in the human interaction.
