The current economic downturn began worldwide around the second half of 2008. Manufacturing industries, even the automated industries, known as robust manufacturers throughout world, decreased their output. At the same time, all manufacturers looked to decrease the material costs and manufacturing costs by improving productivity. Under this financial situation, the welding power source producers have developed a welding power source with high welding quality and low operating costs. In this paper, a digital inverter pulsed MAG/MIG welding power source for robotic and automatic instrument, developed by authors, based on the concepts of economics, has been introduced.
