Start-up and Operation of a Zero Liquid Discharge Process for Boron Recovery from FGD Wastewater

Currently, there are no federal water quality standards or technology-based effluent limitation guidelines for boron. However, some northeast states have water quality standards for boron. The state of Pennsylvania stringent boron, selenium and manganese effluent limits due to impairment of some streams. This technology can be another arrow in our quiver or tool in our tool box to cover future challenges.
