Direct analysis of unprocessed bone marrow from chicken was carried out using the LAESI DP-1000 system coupled to a SYNAPT G2-S HDMS. Multiple classes of compounds were detected and specifically analyzed using IMS. Albumin and Hb proteins were identified based on mass accuracy of less than 3 ppm. Lipids identification was possible using mass accuracy less than 1 ppm.
