Turnover of Histone Acetylation

摘要

Histone acetylation turnover is fast relative to histone methylation. Metabolism is tightly linked with acetylation - leading to fast turnover. Quiescent fibroblasts have slower histone acetyl turnover than proliferating fibroblasts. Technique can be used to monitor turnover in different cellular conditions or even other proteins.
