1. The high mass accuracy measurements, sufficient to confirm all 14 known acyl-polyamines in joro spider venom, could be achieved with internal standard by using the SpiralTOF. Even without internal standard (with external calibration), the accuracy was still acceptable for elemental composition estimation. 2. Product ion spectra of all 14 components were obta ined from a single spot(sample volume is 0.75 μL) on the sample plate. 3. The SpiralTOF, when used as a tandem MS, provided just as much structural information as tandem double-focusing MS did but with much easier operation and much smaller amount of samples. 4. Obtained product ion spectra pattern from precursor ion which has same structural group were very similar.
