Combination of ESI/MS~n, IM-MS and GC-MS 1. MA grafting occurs for unsaturated fatty ester (at least 1 doubl MA grafting occurs for unsaturated fatty ester (at least 1 double-bond required) 2. Evidence of numerous isomers as MA addition occurs after H~·. abstraction in α-position relative to a C=C double bond with a possible shift of position relative to a C=C double bond with a possible shift of the double bond. 4. RAC/RAE products exhibit pendent succinic anhydride which can be branched on different carbon atom, from C8 to C14 for MeLMA (structures A to G for RAC and J to Q for RAE) and from C8 to C11 for EtOMA (data not shown). 5. DA addition for MeLMA leads to 2 cyclic isomers (structures H and I).
