Detection and Characterization of Metabolites in Rat Samples using High Resolution Based Non-target Data Processing Methods

1. More than 30 metabolites of AZ12488024 in rat samples were detected using multiple non-target data acquisition methods. Among them, 16 metabolites were only detected using Metworks or MZmine software packages 2. Multiple mass defect filtering methods could effectively extract drug related components from complex matrices. However, metabolites that were mainly doubly charged in ion source could be missed if the filter templates for doubly charged ion were not used.
