Determination of Low Levels of Testosterone and Dihydrotestosterone in Human Serum by LC-MS/MS

摘要

A rapid, selective, and sensitive LC/MS/MS assay has been developed and validated for quantifying T and DHT with a lower limit of quantitation of 0.02 ng/mL from a 0.2 mL serum samples on API-5500 QTrap LC-MS/MS system. Extensive testing was performed and indicated that the method is suitable for analysis. The rapid, sensitive, and reliable method can determine trace T and DHT in human serum and it was successfully applied on several studies in our labs.
