摘要

Tissue microextraction produced sufficient material from specific tissue locations for LC-MS/MS experiments, including top-down ETD analysis. Direct Analysis of tissue extracts allowed for sensitive LC-MS/MS experiments that yielded high-quality ETD spectra of intact proteins. Top-Down ETD data enabled protein identifications from tissue extracted samples. Improvements in spatial resolution from the current 1mm dia. spots are desirable. Advancements in automated top-down ETD interpretation are desirable.
