SILAC zebrafish enables in vivo monitoring of cardiac morphogenesis

Here we introduce the newly developed SILAC zebrafish, which enables investigation of functional dynamics during embryonic development. Furthermore, in vivo SILAC was used for discrimination between embryos with loss of ALCAM function and wild type fish. Our finding appoints the SILAC zebrafish to a versatile tool for quantitative proteomics.
