Dynamic morphological changes occur in a developing frog egg, which reflect exhaustive molecular changes triggered by fertilization. Molecular researchers studying developing process have focused their interests mainly on large molecules until now, but almost any on small molecules. Additionally, profile of small molecules has not been particularly studied yet, although. The spatial distribution of molecules is very important in development. Since a frog egg is large enough and has much quantity of content, in this study we excised a portion of a frog egg as a sample, and tracked exhaustive, temporal and spatial molecular distribution of embryo development by micro LC-MS.
