摘要

LDI-MS of yeast cells from NAPA structures enables the metabolic analysis of small cell populations with minimal interferences in the low mass region. NAPA enables the analysis of cell suspensions and lysates without extraction or other preparatory steps. Ultralow limit of detection allows for the analysis of metabolites in small cell populations. Future directions may include tailoring NAPA specifically for the analysis of yeast and other microorganisms.
