This work demonstrated the feasibility of plotting semiquantitation maps for polar compounds from surfaces using data acquired with an autosampler/DART/TOFMS. Semi-quantitation maps for concrete, sand, and soil surfaces will be plotted from data obtained for caffeine using the evacuated fl ange, a membrane pump valve setting of 15, and helium temperature and fl ow settings of 150 deg C, and 6 L/min, respectively.
