A simple, sensitive, and high-throughput LC-MS/MS method was developed to quantitate lansoprozole in human plasma down to 0.500 pg/mL. Online enrichment, sample cleanup and phospholipid removal was accomplished via a simple guard column configuration. Good linearity, precision and accuracy were demonstrated. The technique has the potential for routine microdosing bioanalysis at sub-pg/mL range for a wide range of compounds employing simple protein precipitation sample preparation. The technique is being applied to address clients' needs.
