In addition to already identified Akt binding partners HSP90 and actin, ten potential Akt interacting proteins were identified. DHA supplementation influences interacting profiles of Akt with its partners. Using 18O labeling, changes in the profiles could be probed after IGF stimulation and DHA supplementation. Large scale analysis may improve the overall confidence of the identification. The interacting partners and their changes should be validated by western blotting and reverse IP.
