摘要

The aim of the present work was to investigate the combined action of immuno-modulator bendazol hydrochloride and low-dose-rate high-LET radiation (16 cGy; 0.43 cGy/day) on mice in vivo: adaptive response (AR) and the tumor growth in F0 and genomic instability (GI) in F1 and F2 generations. Two-month-old males of SHK mice were irradiated for 24 h a day in the radiation field of the U-70 accelerator (Serpukhov). Our study has shown that the bendazol hydrochloride when used alone not only induced AR but also increased the magnitude of radiation AR when used in combination with low doses of X-radiation; the combined exposure of bendazol hydrochloride and low-dose-rate high-LET radiation induced no AR and increased the growth of the tumor in F0 and induced AR in F1 and F2, as compared to irradiation alone.
