摘要

T regulatory cells (Tregs) suppress anti-tumor immunity and increase in peripheral blood and tumor draining lymph nodes (TDLN) with some canine cancers. Phenotypically, CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ cells more precisely represent Tregs, although only CD4+FoxP3+ Tregs have been previously evaluated in dogs with cancer. We hypothesized dogs with osteosarcoma would have increased %Tregs in blood and TDLN compared to healthy controls. %Tregs were determined in control dogs of different ages to examine effects of immune senescence.
