The prevalence of cancer among pets has increased considerably due to a longer survival, and the MCT is the one of the most frequent skin cancer in dogs, but some dilemmas are caused by highly unpredictable biological behavior.Methods: Were selected 48 dogs with histopathological diagnosis of MCT that have been attended at the SSAS-SVMAS/USP. Were included patients that were monitored for at least one year after surgery. They were submitted to clinical evaluation, including anamnesis and physical examination and information related to neoplasia, surgery and chemotherapy.
